Neil Davidson Art
Neil Davidson Art
Neil was born in Rhodesia, raised in the bush and on a farm, and therefore his passion for the wilds was
set early in life.
Neil’s art career began while still at school, and held a joint exhibition in 1983 with his father in Nelspruit,
South Africa.
From there he moved back to Zimbabwe and began painting full time in and around Hwange National
Park and Victoria Falls. After a while safaris took over from art, though he continued to produce works.
These were taken by safari clients to all parts of the world. After ten years of safaris and conservation
work Neil returned to full time art, and took a long trip to Cape Town. Then following a long term calling
he and his family left Africa and moved to Berkshire in the U.K.
Although he still loves and paints Africa, Neil now does inspirational work with a more spiritual aspect.
Regular visits back to Africa ensure his feel for the bush does not fade.
